QUALITY INGREDIENTS.
QUALITY FOOD.
QUALITY CREW.

As a company, we are known for promoting our fabulous flavors and ideas and for cheerleading those of others. With our inspiration from around the world, we cater to all tastes and diets, including innovative vegetarian and vegan meals, and special attention to allergies and intolerances. We serve an array of healthy, well-cooked meals and decadent desserts using the best quality ingredients. Our chefs constantly seek out quality local artisans and markets to buy the freshest products and support local farmers.

The Goddess Rocks! caters for some of the fussiest people ever. We are going onto tours now that have pages of individual allergies, sensitivities, and preferences, unlike when I first started, and it was meat or vegetarian? We take it all in stride, and use a lot of post it notes, labels and tape. Now we offer three to seven choices, depending on the size of the gig, often with action stations. We are always in demand because of the diversity and freshness of our menus.

FOOD PREP & SAFETY

We pride ourselves on our hygiene. At the Electric Forest festival, the health department inspector brought his boss and several other inspectors to show them how a kitchen should be set up. I was very proud of my staff. Everything is dated and we take temperatures routinely. All staff are certified, according to local requirements. We will obtain all and liaise with the city departments as needed. We are passionate about not wasting food. We buy it well, store it well, cook it well and serve it well. We are equally passionate about maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

FESTIVAL + STADIUM BACK UP PLANS

We try to shop two days ahead, so we always have food available. We also keep a stock of chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs for emergencies. We are very careful with our planning and we know working crews are big eaters. With regards to equipment failures, we think on our feet and that wouldn’t affect preparation, unless the generator went down, in which case we would be cooking in the dark on propane equipment.

SUSTAINABILITY

If we could use real plates and silverware for everything we cater, we would, but for festival and stadium numbers it just isn’t possible. We use biodegradable or compostable disposables. We do encourage people not to waste them.
